Delete your account

You can delete your Lammirian account and its data in the app, or ask us by email to do it for you. You can also delete parts of your data and keep the account.

Delete your account in the app

  • Open the Settings tab and tap your profile card at the top.
  • On the Profile tab, scroll down and tap Delete account data.
  • Pick at least one reason for leaving, or write a short note.
  • Tap Delete account data, then tap Delete data to confirm.

Your phone needs an internet connection to start the deletion. The app shows the progress, clears the Lammirian data stored on that phone, and signs you out when it is done. Deletion cannot be undone.

Deleting the account does not cancel a paid subscription, because Google Play and the App Store bill you directly. Cancel it in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions, or in your Apple account's subscription settings.

Ask us to delete it by email

If you can't use the app, email us from the address you use to sign in to Lammirian. Put "Delete my account" in the subject.

support@lammirian.com

We only act on requests sent from the account's own email address. We may reply to that address to confirm before we start. Then we run the same deletion as the app.

What we delete

  • Your Lammirian user record and your sign-in identity at WorkOS, our sign-in provider.
  • Your financial data: accounts, balances, transactions with their photos and receipts, categories, scheduled and recurring payments, loans, deposits, cards and other products, and the statistics built from them.
  • Your profile and settings, including your name, date of birth, gender, country, city, and Lifestyle answers, health answers included.
  • Your Help improve AI records, if you turned the setting on: every saved AI interaction, correction, and rating, and your merchant category votes.
  • Assistant chats, files you attached in chat, your agents and their memories, tasks and skills, and your what-if scenarios.
  • Splits you created, with their expenses and images, your friend list, and the public links you shared.
  • Bank connections. We remove each connected bank at Plaid and delete the accounts and transactions it imported.
  • Connected apps, their sign-in tokens, and the assistant's cloud browser profile, which are stored with Cloudflare.
  • Push notification tokens, Shortcuts and agent access keys, support conversations, and your subscription status.
  • Your customer record at RevenueCat and your analytics profile at PostHog. We delete the PostHog profile about 10 minutes after the rest, so that events your phone sent last are not left behind.

If WorkOS, RevenueCat, or PostHog doesn't respond, we retry for about an hour. If Cloudflare doesn't respond, we keep retrying for up to 7 days.

Our database provider, Convex, makes a daily backup that we keep for 7 days, so deleted data leaves our backups within 7 days.

What we keep

  • Aggregated AI statistics. Counts built from Help improve AI records, such as how often a kind of request came up, stay. They hold no message text and cannot be linked back to you.
  • Your answers to the exit survey. The reasons and note you gave when deleting stay, and no longer link to any account.
  • AI usage counts. We keep usage and cost records for accounting, with your user ID removed. Individual usage events are deleted after 30 days. Daily totals stay.
  • Splits created by other people. Your place in someone else's split keeps its name and amounts, so their balances stay correct. Debt reminders you sent about their splits stay with the people who received them.
  • Statement imports in progress. Uploaded statements are deleted automatically within a day of upload.
  • Analytics and crash data. Analytics events recorded before the deletion stay in PostHog under your pseudonymous app user key, which no longer matches any account. Crash reports stay in Sentry until its retention period ends.
  • Store purchase records. Google and Apple keep their own records of your purchases under their own policies.

Delete part of your data

You don't have to delete your account to remove data. In the app you can:

  • Delete transactions you entered, and accounts, categories, scheduled payments, scenarios, splits, friends, and agents.
  • Delete an assistant chat and its messages.
  • Disconnect a bank in Settings → Connected banks. We remove it at Plaid and delete the accounts and transactions it imported.
  • Disconnect an app in Settings → AI → Plugins. Once no app uses a connected account, we delete its sign-in tokens.
  • Turn off a public link to a split or event.
  • Delete your Lifestyle health answers on the Lifestyle tab of your profile, or withdraw your consent for them, which deletes them too.
  • Turn off Help improve AI in Settings → Other → Diagnostics. This stops collection and deletes the records already saved for you, along with your merchant category votes.
  • Turn off Share diagnostics in the same place. This stops future analytics and crash reports. Events already sent stay in PostHog and Sentry, as described above.

To delete anything you can't remove in the app, email support@lammirian.com from your account's email address and tell us what to remove.
